Synopsis

In the wake of a consequential Presidential election, five tightly knit multiracial families and a mutual friend of theirs live in inviting down-home progressive cities in a far backsliding conservative state. Arming themselves, they lead their neighbors in defending their homes from militant Right-wing terrorist legions, and they must hold on until vital aid can be delivered from the President-elect.

Description of Lawrence Beach (Sergeant Major "Snafu"):

With the ill-gained rank of Sergeant Major, Lawrence “Snafu” Beach is given the most unenviable position of “ambassador” for the Black Phantom and White Ghost divisions of the ACL forces in Texas. Eager to flex his killing muscles, his dimwitted nature may be key to the 88th overthrowing the ACL (Allied Columbian Legion) army.
