it takes place in a Utopian world called Climax City, the city of rain and storms. Shane Brooks, a 19 year-old boy who dreams about being a pop star..but then everything went crashing down when a riot broke out in the streets then a black guard unit formed by a mysterious corporation called EQUINOX trying to cease the riot but it went out of control as a explosion went off and began spreading black gas across the city therefore giving birth to EVOhumans..dubbed the Blacktox Incident.
