Synopsis

In early 1905, journalism was a place for mockery and lies in the United States. Wanting to conduct real journalism, a group of friends travel to Asia to report the ongoing conflict in Manchuria, where the Empires of Russia and Japan had been at war for over a year. They are met with both Japanese and Russian forces, while also traveling with a Manchurian woman. Soon, they will all be in the center of the largest land battle of the entire war.

Description of Johnathan Barkley:

Jonathan Barkley 🇺🇸 is a journalist for the Boston Globe. Sick of the fake news and false narratives of his time, Jonathan and a few of his friends begin to look for a story. They settle on the yearlong conflict in Manchuria between Russia and Japan. While in Manchuria, they meet Qingzhao and her father, Xiaojian. Johnathan falls in love with Qingzhao and travels with her around the war torn region.
