Synopsis

In early 1905, journalism was a place for mockery and lies in the United States. Wanting to conduct real journalism, a group of friends travel to Asia to report the ongoing conflict in Manchuria, where the Empires of Russia and Japan had been at war for over a year. They are met with both Japanese and Russian forces, while also traveling with a Manchurian woman. Soon, they will all be in the center of the largest land battle of the entire war.

Caleb Tenold 🇺🇸 is a journalist for the Boston Globe and friend of Jonathan Barkley. After Jonathan suggests going to Manchuria to report on the war, Caleb is reluctant to go, but is convinced by the rest of his friends. While in Manchuria, Caleb is shown to be very cautious and sensitive, even crying when faced with near death.
