Synopsis

Colonel Rico and his elite platoon of Mobile Infantry Pathfinders are tasked with a secret mission: securing a classified R&D blacksite home to Operation: Phoenix, which reopens old psychological scars in the grizzled veteran as he is not only confronted with a cybernetic revenant made from Dizzy Flores, but an impossible moral choice to scuttle the base and watch her die a second time, or attempt to defend the base against impossible odds.

Description of Medical Sergeant Riika Jansen (Needle):

The sole survivor of an Arachnid raid that wiped out her home colony, Jansen was nearly drummed out of the Mobile Infantry for insubordination until Colonel Rico needed to fill a gap in the Pathfinders' roster. She serves as the platoon's voice of moral clarity, and is the first to point out anything she views as unacceptable losses - be they M.I. or civilian.
