Synopsis

Galen Marek, codenamed Starkiller, serves as the secret Sith Apprentice to Darth Vader himself during the reign of The Galactic Empire. As Vader's assassin, Starkiller hunts down Jedi survivors of Order 66 on his Master's command, but when he is betrayed by his Master after Emperor Palpatine found out about his existence, Galen joins the Rebellion and sacrifices himself to save the Rebel leaders onboard the Death Star. Later, a clone of him is created on Kamino and that clone joins the Rebel Alliance in the place of his original self, but is also on a mission to discover who, or what, he really is.

Description of Lord Starkiller (Vision of the Dark Side):

After killing Mace Windu and rescuing Garm Bel-Iblis on Haruun Kal, Galen Marek goes to an ancient Jedi Temple to face The Jedi Trials, and confronts a man wearing dark armor. Through removing this figure's mask, Galen learns it is a version of himself from the future, and eliminates the vision before it could eliminate him.
