Description of Daniel Jackson (Dr. Jackson):

This is Daniel Jackson. Lewis Pullman in Top Gun: Maverick and Lessons in Chemistry is the most Daniel Jackson any modern actor has ever been. If casting directors don’t choose him they’re blind. I feel like Lewis Pullman and Charlize Theron would just LOOK good in the same shot together as Sam and Daniel. I can just see them going off on nerdy tangents together like kids in a candy shop at every scientific discovery or historic object they find. I also wanted someone who can play innocent well, and I feel like Lewis has that. I can see Jack O’Neill looking at him and being reminded of his son, and forming that sort of father son + best friend dynamic that the two have.
