Synopsis

Description of Atton Rand (The Smuggler):

Atton Rand, nicknamed "Jaq", is a pilot from the planet Alderaan, later revealed as one of the Lost Jedi, and trained under the exile, Meetra Surik. He joined the Republic military and fought loyally under Revan in the Mandalorian Wars, and defected to Revan's side when the Jedi Knight became the Dark Lord of the Sith. However, after an encounter with a Jedi he was tasked with killing, he fled and hid on Nar Shaddaa. Rand faces the galaxy with dismissive apathy and sarcasm. His laid-back attitude and unwillingness to take a position of responsibility often jars with Kreia's grimness as the two travel together. He also has an irrational hatred of droids, claiming that they can't be trusted.
