While Rey seeks out the old Jedi master Ezra Bridger her padawan Lana Cordell and Finn fight the remaining forces of the first order and their leader Darth Obsidian who eventually turns Lana to the dark side and when Rey and Lana get into a fight Rey's Kyber crystal is corrupted by Lana, but Rey manages to split the crystal creating a double-bladed saber with one side being red and the other being blue. Eventually Rey has to kill Lana and Rey goes into hiding but its revealed she died of old age while Finn left the galaxy all together making way for the rise of Darth Order the apprentice of Darth Obsidian and the return of the Empire.
