Lord Sidious sent Maul to the desert world of Tatooine to capture Queen Amidala bring her back to Naboo and sign a treaty during the Trade Federation invasion. during the battle of Naboo, the Sith warrior fought two Jedi Qui-Gon Jinn and Obi-Wan Kenobi and killed the Maverick Jedi Master in front of his Padawan
