Fan Casting Crystal Brown in Spoiler: The Series

Crystal was never a good mother and this is something that Stephanie had to deal with longer than her father being a villain. Crystal and Arthur had Stephanie by accident and Crystal had wanted to give her away as she felt she didn’t want children. Arthur fought to keep her as the game show he worked on paid him well and so Stephanie remained with her parents. Crystal is quick to betray others for money or any power, she doesn’t truly care about Stephanie and she is very quick to remind her. There have been moments where Stephanie feels they connected and that’s what Steph tries to hang on to.
