But a laboratory accident caused the tentacles to bond with his body, granting him telepathic control over the mechanical limbs. But the mishap also messed with his mind, abandoning his dreams of one day furthering the field of atomic research, turning into a life of crime instead. Now Spiderman will have to stop him from attacking New York and try to get him to gain control of his mind again
