The movie opens with the Oscorp building being remodeled after being bought by someone named Wilson Fisk. At the new Fisk Tower we see an old repair man for Oscorp named Max Dillon talking with Fisk about keeping his job. Fisk says no and kicks Max out. Later that day Max gets a call from an aquarium to come fix the electric eel tank. Once he gets there Max goes to working on the tank but during the process the owner of the aquarium comes in to see what's going on and Max gets startled and falls into the tank. After a while, Max wakes up in the ER where he seems to be fine. After two days he's let out and he goes home but soon realizes that he has powers. After a while Max decides he wants revenge on the aquarium owner and goes after him. Meanwhile Peter is swinging around the city and spots a man with electricity coming out of him. Peter confronts Max who thinking Spider-Man is there to stop him electrocutes Peter. They fight for a while and Peter gets knocked out. The movie goes on with Max capturing the aquarium owner while Peter looks for them. Eventually Peter finds Max and the two of them fight. The fight ends with Peter managing to stop Max due to a rubber variant of his suit he designed. The movie ends with Max going to the Raft and Peter going home to Aunt May.
