While Peter is now enjoying his life as Spider-Man and has finally got the love of his life, he realizes that there’s an imposter posing as him doing criminal activity and ruining his image. As a result, everyone thinks he’s really a menace and stops trusting him including the Fantastic Four, his friends and even MJ. With Peter now left depressed, he must find out who is the person who’s pretending to be Spider-Man. Along the way, he meets some other vigilantes and randomly becomes friends with them. When he finds out that Mysterio is the one who’s pretending to be Spider-Man, he fights him. During the battle, Mysterio says he’s innocent and he wasn’t pretending to be him it was Chameleon. So Peter catches Chameleon, he exposes him to the public and tells the whole world that it wasn’t him, Chameleon using disguises to pretend as Spider-Man and tries to ruin his image. In the end, Chameleon gets arrested, Mysterio & Peter forgive each other, everyone forgives Peter & starts loving him again and most importantly MJ came back to Peter and they both kiss.
