Following the battle in New York, a salvage company lead by electronics engineer Adrian Toomes are contracted by the local council to clean up the city. However their operation is taken over by Oscorp Industries and their founding CEO Norman Osborn, leaving Toomes and his employees out of a job. After a heated argument with Osborn, Toomes is arrested before being bailed out by his associates Phineas Mason and Alistair Smythe. Mason reveals to Toomes that they hid a lot of Asgardian weapons and technology from the authorities from Oscorp, giving Toomes the idea to keep them and use them to create advanced weapons to sell off privately.read more
