Description of Venom (Eddie Brock):

Eddie Brock is a former friend of Peter Parker's parents. While he seeks to find him, Eddie discovers an old experiment financed by Oscorp on which Richard Parker worked before disappearing: the Venom symbiote. This was briefly worn by Spiderman who immediately rejected it, the symbiote choosing to merge with Eddie for devoting paroxysmal hatred towards the weaver.
