Slowly she began rebuilding the machine after she got another disgruntled Oscorp employee to help her named Carmichael Keaton and he smuggled her blueprints and other various parts that she couldn't get from Felica. When she is about to kill Norman with the newly built sabotaged DNA machine Curt Connors begs her to kill him instead taking the blame and admitting that most of the machine work had been done by him and Otto and that Norman took credit for their project. Screwball is enraged and throws Curt into it and kicks the door shut. When the machine is nearly active Spiderman gets Curt out of there just in time.
