Doctor Norman Virgil Osborn is a scientist, as well as the founder and former CEO of Oscorp. After experimenting on himself with an unstable enhancement serum, Osborn developed a chaotically destructive alternate personality that became known as the Green Goblin, who wreaked havoc on his city. While Green Goblin controlled Osborn's body, he clashed with Spider-Man, was ultimately defeated by him, and perished due to a self-inflicted injury from his own hover-glider. However, in another universe, an error in Doctor Strange's spell transported Green Goblin through the Multiverse, alive, into Strange's universe.
