22nd film in the Marvel Animated Cinematic Extended Universe
Peter Parker has graduated from high school and is now is now an intern at Horizon Labs and moving to college at Empire State University. He meets a 13-year-old kid from Brooklyn named Miles Morales, who has powers similar to his after being bitten by another radioactive spider. He offers to train him to have better control of his powers. Meanwhile, six villains defeated by Spider-Man break out of jail thanks to a mysterious client and join together as the Sinister Six to destroy Spidey. With his fellow Avengers unavailable, Spider-Man must stop these six villains with help from his new partner. He also discovers the secrets of his parents inside S.H.I.E.L.D.
