Peter's science teacher. He initially very caring brilliant and like a mentor to Peter. However, he is secretly working for Norman Osborn in an attempt to provide for his family. After an accident permanently fuses mechanical arms to his spine he becomes a cold and uncaring villain and Peter's first nemesis.
