Miranda Hollander, a university teacher, briefly loses consciousness and comes to her senses in the midst of a bloody massacre and a mass of corpses. She rushes to her uncle for an answer. When he brings to her consciousness the shocking truth, namely that Miranda is only half human, i.e. a clone from a human-alien hybrid, they have to fly to Mexico to find the scientist who created her. They are forced to defend themselves against hordes of fierce, unstoppable hybrids and try to buy time, which inexorably runs away, forcing Miranda to give in completely and forever to the killer instinct that is growing inside her being
