As part of the SETI program, scientists send messages from beyond Earth, hoping to find life beyond our planet. After receiving instructions from the aliens on how to create infinite fuel, the scientists conduct a genetic experiment to create a human-alien hybrid. The girl born, whose codename is Syl, turns out to be dangerous and flees from them. A division of the government hunts her down, but she escapes to Los Angeles, where she kills several people and hides. Once on Syl's trail, the team tries to take her down, but she escapes, killing the team leader in the process. She then gets pregnant and kills the next user with blazing fire. Syl is then destroyed by a human member of the team.
