Description of Sequel Love Interest:

We're making a sequel to that story you love! But what's that? Our protagonist didn't have a love interest in the first story? Well, we can't have that! Give them someone new to smooch! Oftentimes this will happen to a male protagonist, as the studio wants a new female love interest to set them up with and to market to girls. Note: This is for characters created in sequels solely for the love interest role; for pre-existing characters, see "Promoted to Love Interest."
