Synopsis

Dr. Eggman has acquired a new undiscovered gem known as the Dimension Diamond, which holds the power to travel and manipulate the multiverse! He was going to use it to find a stronger version of himself to team up with when Sonic and his friends ruined his plans. But Sonic went too far and shattered the Dimension Diamond, which exploded, destroyed Eggman's lab, and brought three multiversal timelines to their world! Eventually, Sonic and his crew figure out it is only two different versions of himself (SatAM, Boom and Movie) and then team up with the other Sonics and their groups to find the shards of the Dimension Diamond and bring them home before Eggman, and his multiversal counterparts, can find them first.

Description of Metal Sonic:

Although he's outnumbered by the number of Sonics, Metal Sonic can still take on Sonic, SatAM Sonic, Boom Sonic, even Movie Sonic solo! Metal Sonic will prove to be a difficult challenge for all four of the Sonics in their race against Eggman's team. Eventually, Movie Robotnik would give Metal his "modifications" and actually turn him against Eggman, making him his own! After this is over, Metal Sonic begged for mercy from his true creator for this betrayal.
