Fan Casting Shade The Echidna in Sonic The Hedgehog: The Blue Blur

The younger sister of Julie, Shade is much less experienced as a warrior and soldier, making her far more insecure, nervous, and fearful. However her inexperience also allows her to be more open-minded and skeptic, as she was the one who brought up the idea to Julie that they were being manipulated by Starline. After a brief battle with Knuckles and a vision from Tikal, the echidna sisters would be taken under the red warrior's wing as his apprentices and fellow guardians of the Master Emerald. Shade in particular has taken a great interest in Echidna history and would dedicate great portions of her time to researching their past and culture.
