Fan Casting Maria in Sonic The Hedgehog: The Blue Blur

A Mobian Deer, this version of Maria was born far later and thus was never on the ARK, avoiding her untimely demise. A pure and gentle girl with a kind and tender heart, she nursed a wounded Shadow after he went MIA on Prison Island and helped him learn the good of people. Shadow's time with Maria would reform him into a hero after his previous trauma of losing Hope and he would sacrifice himself to save Mobius and Maria. He ultimately survived his fall from space but developed amnesia from his injuries, causing him to forget about her. Through lingering familiar emotions and the events of the Metarex and Black Arms invasions, Shadow would remember her and the 2 would eventually reunite.
