Big is a gentle giant who lives alone, has no home, and loves nothing but the "Four F's": "Friends, family, Froggy, and fishing." Sure, he eats fish, but he's more of a catch-and-release type of fisher for he cares about all living creatures. We meet Big as an unintroduced background character who we eventually get a close up of seeing him fishing in a lake nearby Uncle Chuck's house. His pet Froggy spots a butterfly, and decides to chase after it. Big chases his pet to catch him, and eventually catches him, but he ends up on the shuttle the good guys hijack. They find him when they heard a ruckus on the ship, which was caused by Big chasing Froggy. He gets the offer of living with Vanilla, but he humbly says he'll think about it.
