Synopsis

In Green Hills, Shadow leaves the Wachowski home and joins GUN, leaving Sonic and his friends without an ultimate life form. Robotnik was going to start on his most favored project when a psychokinetic hedgehog from the future by the name of Silver, and his partner Blaze the Cat, appear in his lab, and have seemed to stumble into our time. They are sent by their mysterious new ally Mephiles the Dark, looking for the one responsible for the destruction of their world, and that's when Robotnik sees that he and his new friends have a common enemy: Sonic! The hedgehog hero, and his friends, Amy, Tails, Knuckles, Shadow and Rouge, now have to face these new, super-powered "friends" of Robotnik while the doctor plans to build his favored project behind Silver and Blaze's backs and use it against them. A project known . . . as Metal Sonic.
