Chuck took Sonic and himself to West Side Island with his biplane the Tornado to finally relax with the events of the first movie and Little Planet. But that night, Uncle Chuck and Sonic were ambushed. It was so dark that Robotnik and his Badniks didn't see Uncle Chuck selflessly get himself in the way to save Sonic, and they took him instead by mistake! They have Uncle Chuck locked up on the "Death Egg™", where Sonic will grab a hold of a shuttle to get there.
