Shadow heads off alone to the Space Colony Ark to search for some strange activity, when he finds his old nemesis, Black Doom who haunts him once again. Shadow gets caught in the time anomaly and enters white space along with the others, including Maria and Gerald Robotnik. In order to set time back to it's course, Shadow must destroy the Black Moon putting his Doom powers to good use and destroy Black Doom once more.
