Samuel Thomas "Sam" Wilson, better known as Captain America and formerly Falcon, is a former military paratrooper in the United States Armed Forces who left active duty when his wingman Ronald Riley was killed in combat, choosing instead to start helping fellow veterans suffering from PTSD at the United States Department of Veterans Affairs, when he went to visit Thaddeus Ross in prison the TVA showed up and took him away and then sent him to the void So Sam along with others who ended up in the void formed the Revengers to catch the Sonics because according to them they are the only ones who know how to get out of the void
