Description of Black Arms:
The Black Arms[2] (ブラックアームズ Burakku Āmuzu) are creatures that appear in the Sonic the Hedgehog series. They are a violent, hive-minded race of extraterrestrial beings created and led by Black Doom who traverse space in the Black Comet. Fifty years after the creation of Shadow the Hedgehog, they invaded earth in search of the seven Chaos Emeralds, but were opposed (or aided) by Shadow and his allies. They are easily recognized by their black-and-red skin pigmentation. The Black Arms are now assumed to be extinct, with the exception of Shadow being the last member of their species through blood.
