Fan Casting Koichi Noguchi in Solar Knights Zyuraijin

Despite being an infant Draconite once brainwashed and sent to destroy by the Crimson Hand Empire of Vyrus, Koichi shows a marked interest in and protectiveness of the humans’ culture, as well as sensitivity to human issues of pain and loneliness having chosen to grow up as a human himself. As Saburo’s student mentor, Koichi is comfortable in his identity (far more than Rika), whilst being warmer and more emotionally open. However, he shows detachment from human protocols and shares Rika's tendency to speak in universal rather than personal terms. He comes to see the rest of the team as though they’re his children serving as a temporary leader when Saburo cannot.
