Synopsis

Dear Friends, Some lead mines up in the hills have long been closed, but their waste-heaps still spoil a lovely valley. Sir Topham Hatt (our Fat Controller) has now found that this waste is good weed-killing railway ballast. He talked to the Owner and Mr. Peter Sam of the Skarloey Railway, and other important people. They "went shares" and built a Small Railway to fetch it away. The Small Engines are managed by a Controller named Mr. Fergus Duncan. They call him the Small Controller, but that is only in fun. Description of Henry the Green Engine (NWR #3):

PLEASE KEEP IN MIND: I prefer to write and hear Henry as Male-to-Female transgender with the transition to being female brought on due to her accident with the Flying Kipper that necessitated her rebuild decades ago. So, only suggest FEMALE actors for the voice of Henry in MY projects.

  • ltathena For those of you wondering why I write Henry as female, my headcanon is that she was MTF transgender and the accident with the Flying Kipper and subsequent rebuild as an LMS Black 5 also came with a free gender reassignment overhaul from male to fully female courtesy of Sir William Stanier. And even before that, (when male) Henry identified as female and both the Fat Controller and the other engines respected it by using the preferred female pronouns in talking with and about her.
