Growing up, Venyrap was seen as a freak and an outcast, mostly because he was a bug-like demon who could drain nutrients from others like a vampire using his beak. Much like a certain Plant student from Hexside, Venyrap demonstrates immense control over plant magic, which he uses to hunt down and restrain possible victims before wrapping them up in cocoons and keeping their shriveled-up bodies around for show. There is no greater pleasure this raggedy monster gets than hearing whoever crosses his path scream for help as he sucks them dry, making him one of the most wanted on the Boiling Isles and one of the most feared members of the Wild Witch Syndicate.
