Taking place in the 16th century, the king and queen have a beautiful baby girl. Her fairy godmothers grant her gifts, and the evil Maleficent places a curse on her. The curse was that when the young princess turns 16, she will prick her finger on a spinning wheel and die. The king and queen are scared for their daughter, so they let the fairy godmothers take their child, Aurora, to the forest to stay safe from the curse. The fairy godmothers rename the young princess to Briar Rose for undercover reasons. On her 16th birthday, they must figure out a way to defeat Maleficent, who has a plan to kill the princess.read more
