Luminous was originally a heinous villain who used his fear of darkness to justify erasing everything and anything dark from Skylands, no matter the cost. This attitude of his landed him in Cloudcracker, and he refused to see the error of his ways even when others did. But, with the Magic Eater plunging everything into nothingness, he decided to put away his past grudges and team up with the Skylanders for fear of what would become of his own light if he did. So, he joined up with the Skylands Restoration Team and became a Sensei, mentoring Imaginators of the new Long-Range Imaginator class.
