In the midst of the ongoing battles with Brain, Skylanders Academy receives a cry for help from the Radiant Isles, an archipelago home to a mysterious and powerful form of magic known as "Radiance" and guarded by the Mystic Seekers who study said Radiance. Description of Fairy Swing:

One of the Radiance Channelers, a group of legendary heroes who the Mystic Seekers awakened to fight Hektore. Fairy Swing, like all fairies, was contracted to give Skylanders upgrades... But, she was never content with this life as she so greatly desired to use her powers to fight evil like they did. However, her upgrade magic didn't work on herself, so she sought out the Radiant Isles and learned how to control Radiance to boost her own magic. It was during this pilgrimage that she learned of Hektore and his schemes, and devoted herself to stopping him.
