Synopsis

A reboot of Skylanders Academy. The story follows Spyro, a young purple dragon dreaming of becoming a Skylander along with his friends, but evil lurks in the realm and Spyro must become stronger to protect his world

Description of Gill Grunt (English Dub):

Gill Grunt is a 15 year old gillman, first year cadet of the water element and member of Team Spyro. Gill was once part of the gillman military at 12, lying about his age. At that time, he befriended a beautiful mermaid and promised to see her again at the lagoon, however, 2 years later when he came back, he discovered she was kidnapped by pirates. Heartbroken, he and his childhood friend Trigger Happy enrolled at Skylanders Academy in hope to become a Skylander and hunt down the pirates. He joined Spyro's team when he and Happy witnessed him protecting the school. He is usually heroic, kind and always honest to others and himself, he has a habit of making faces whenever he lies.
