Persephone's got her plate full with both helping out the Skylanders and ruling the Fairy Kingdom, especially as the topic of raising up an heir of her own has cropped up. Nonetheless, she's still more than happy to upgrade your Skylanders for the right price, especially when the Seven Dark Seeds' resurgence calls for new powers. At least middle aged.
