Merlin is a Portal Master who lived during the reign of the Arkeyans. After the death of his grandfather and the capture then enslavement of his village, he met and befriended Tree Rex, after that encounter, he found the other giants and convinced them to fight for his cause, starting with freeing his village. After the end of the first Great War, he was left heartbroken after his friends got whiskered from Skylands, and passed away at the age of 100, ascending as the guardian acient of Portal Masters. In Giants, he assumes the identity of Melone to avoid suspicion, to then reveal his true colors to defend Ethan, Chris and Marvin from robots, defeating them effortlessly.
