After the events of spyro's adventure, Ethan became lonely after his father abandoned him while he was hospitalized, and began being look down on by other students for being the bully he was. When Alfred and company started their new adventure, Ethan accidentally got teleported to Skylands amd was found by the group, which Alfred offered him to join. This company gave him a new light, putting him on a path to become a better person. After being ambushed at Kaos' castle, Ethan began fighting with a war hammer.
