Goddess of the Fire Element and patron deity of the lava monsters. Vulcan was one of the eight deities born after the Hope and Despair Bringers, and is regarded as their younger sister of a sort. According to legend, as the oldest of the elemental deities, she held a strong sense of justice and protection towards Skylands, using her fires to protect its residents from harm and giving them its gifts to live further. For the past several millennia she's laid dormant after sustaining great injury during the first battles of the Hope and Despair Bringers, but is later awakened to give the Fire Skylanders their Soul Gems and Xinyi new powers over the Fire Element.
