Orion's father, and a direct descendant of a Skylands-born magic user who was whisked away to Earth in a freak accident long ago. He strongly believes in the long-told family legend that they're destined to find the next incarnation of the Hope Bringer, and sees the dwindling magic power of their family lineage as a punishment for not achieving their mission. Because of this, he looks down on magicless Orion and thinks of them as divine punishment, favoring their twin brother Sirius.
