A girl from Jake's school who works for the school newspaper. Mali's incredibly dedicated to her job, always trying to sniff out big scoops for the paper no matter what, leading them to come off and obnoxious and nosy. It was them looking for scoops that lead to her finding out the truth about Skylands, and turning out to be a portal master! This lead to her training with the others and slowly becoming friends with them, as well as her becoming Xinyi's crush. About 12-14 years old, fancasted VAs must be Southeast Asian or Pacific Islander.
