Chris's mother. She has recently divorced with her husband after fighting for weeds, and that was the cause of her behaviour. Although she is seemingly cold, Candace is very worried for her daughter, especially when she learns Marvin attempted suicide. She is first seen scolding the family's Czechoslovakian wolf dog, Alex, while barking at Alfred, Haley, Norville and Nelly.
