Over the past six months, Norville has had Hugo as a roommate while he and the rest of the heroes try to figure out what to do about the Darkness. Though his mother was quite shocked to learn about what her son had been doing, she's taken pride in her son's strength and compassion, and has even bonded quite a bit with Hugo. Seeing the path her son had taken, she's gained full confidence in his ability to choose his own path, and with Hugo staying behind to help his mother, Norville agreed to join the others on their journey to find the Giants, and in the process unlock his true power over the winds of change in more ways than one.
