During the battle against Strykore, Master Eon forcibly intervened to keep Strykore from stealing the heroes' light once more, resulting in him exerting some of the last of his power. As his spirit form faded away, he transferred the last of his power to Jet-Vac and Cynder, giving them new forms with a great amount of power and control over the Light Element and the ability to combat Strykore's light-eating abilities.
