Over the past six months, Haley has had Flynn as a roommate while he and the rest of the heroes try to figure out what to do about the Darkness—and though they've been getting on each others' nerves, Flynn's confidence may have rubbed off some on Haley. He's become more confident in himself after feeling inadequate in his abilities before, and this newfound confidence has allowed him to focus wholeheartedly on mastering his abilities.
