Over the course of the past six months, Spyro has managed to mostly control his Dark form and can even willingly call upon it when he needs the power over darkness it provides. Though he mostly is able to manage it, he's hesitant to use it unless needed out of fear of losing control—especially after his return to Skylands, where he finds it harder to manage due to the influence of the Darkness.
